IL&FS Townships & Urban Assets Limited (ITUAL), a 100% subsidiary of Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Limited(IL&FS), is a newly created business vertical of IL&FS Group. The business vertical aims at achieving the following key objectives :
• Focus on project identification, conceptualization, bidding, project development, management and O&M supervision of the real estate and urban infrastructure projects
• Invest in the equity of the project SPVs in the Sector thus creating growth and value for the shareholders
• Explore new technologies and strategic tie ups for low cost housing / low cost construction and in other areas of real estate
Some of the projects undertaken/being undertaken by ITUAL :
Development Rights of 7.77 mn sq ft in Gujarat Finance International Tec City (GIFT), Development of Stadium in Kerala for National Games Secretariat on PPP, Housing in Uttarakhand on BOT for CRPF and Housing Development through joint ventures / joint developments across various locations in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Maharashtra .
